For those following us on our social media (Instagram or Facebook), you already know that one of our favourite restaurants is L'Oustalet in Gigondas.
We always give preference to really diving into the moment of being all alone in a perfect place with perfect foods and well matched wines. Therefore, we decided to never again taking pictures of the food well served.
Last friday (okay, this blog post was delayed with 15 days, since we have been quite busy, sorry!) was different. We took a bunch of pictures. A zillion of perfect little dishes passed by with an exquisite selection of matching wines. The Chef, Laurent De Cock, their sommelier, and the rest of the team made sure we would know the story and all details of what ingredients or wines they selected for us.
Not only are the food and drinks high-quality and served into perfection, the ambiance itself is a serene and perfectly matched decor aswell.
The racing green velvet chairs made us think of The Jane but in a dark classical tone as the only colour touch, beautifully adhering to their large wine bottle collection. Keeping the rest of the interior white & wood, creates at the same time a classical and contemporary harmony to this historical building.
We loved every bit of it and we can go on and on about all details but in fact, you can never describe how wonderful it is. You should discover it for yourself!
