An ode to this romantic and beautiful lady, inside & out, for she turned 12 today.
She was so, so happy with the ochre-yellow dress, her favourite colour, and the antique mirror she got, which we both had already bought a month ago.
We made a crown with an olivebranch and flowers, baked brownies, sang all of the (musical)songs we love, twirled midst the trees, ate, drank and laughed our way through the day, blew out the candles on her Tarte Tropézienne and just slumbered together.
Nothing more she could have asked for, she said.
It's always the simple things that matter and create unforgettable memories.
